REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF FACILITIES
At Isla Work, we are committed to providing a collaborative and professional work environment designed to inspire productivity and creativity.
To ensure a positive experience for all our members, we have established a series of terms and conditions that govern the use of our facilities and services. We encourage you to read these terms carefully before using our spaces, as by doing so, you agree to abide by all the provisions described herein.
To guarantee harmonious coexistence and the proper functioning of the “Isla Work” work Centre located at Calle José Franchy Roca, 5, first floor, door 2, 35007, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (the “Centre”), OPEN TECNO GOURMET, S.L., with CIF B-75748723 (“Isla Work”) informs Users of these Rules of Use of the Facilities (the “Rules”), which are mandatory and apply to all natural or legal persons who have contracted services with Isla Work (“Users”), as well as to outside third parties (a “Third Party” or “Visitor”), who access or use the facilities.
ONE. – ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES
1. By Users:
a) The Centre's operating hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00. Any changes will be communicated by Isla Work. b) Access to the facilities by Users is only permitted during public opening hours, except for Users of the private offices with 24/7 access. c) The opening and closing hours of the facilities must be respected at all times. d) Each User will have assigned access conditions, according to the contracted Services. e) Access outside the hours contracted by each User must be exclusively authorised by Isla Work. f) Isla Work reserves the right to carry out maintenance work that may affect access to the Centre.
2. By non-User third parties:
a) Access by Third Parties at the request of any User must be communicated to and authorised by Isla Work. b) No User may grant access to Third Parties without said authorisation. c) Any Third Party accessing at the request of any User is obliged to comply with these Rules. d) The User shall be responsible for informing any Third Party accessing at their request of the Rules. e) Any non-compliance with these Rules by a Third Party shall be understood as a non-compliance by the User who requested their access. f) The User must accompany their Visitors at all times. g) The common areas or designated places (offices or meeting rooms) shall be used for Visitor reception; Users may not impose on other Users or use work desks for this purpose.
Isla Work reserves the right to authorise or deny access to Third Parties unrelated to the facilities, at its own discretion, and to expel any User or Third Party who disrupts the normal functioning of the Centre or violates the Rules.
TWO. – USE OF THE FACILITIES
1. General Uses
a) The facilities shall be used in accordance with these Rules and the contracted Services. b) The User is responsible for the safekeeping of personal or business, confidential information and documentation of which they are the owner, assignee, or holder, exempting Isla Work from any liability. c) The User is responsible for respecting the confidentiality of information and the protection of sensitive and personal data of the other Users, unless otherwise stated by the owner, assignee, or holder of said data. d) Passageways, access, and exit areas must remain free of obstacles, as they are used as emergency exits. e) Any loss or damage caused by the User to facilities, materials, furniture, or equipment shall be paid for by the User. f) Upon completion of the use of the facilities, furniture, materials, or associated equipment, the User must restore them to their initial state, free of waste and personal items, and communicate any damage or incident to Isla Work. g) The affixing of posters, signs, trademarks, or commercial names of Users or third parties in any area of the Centre, inside or outside, is prohibited. Illustratively, but not limited to, commercial signs or names may not be affixed to offices, windows, doors, or others. Isla Work reserves the right to authorise and/or remove them. h) Overnight stays at the Centre are prohibited.
2. Use of work desks or coworking areas
a) A work desk consists of a desk, chair, plugs, and internet connection. b) The User commits to maintaining their work desk in perfect conditions of order and hygiene. c) A work desk is intended for one User, never for a greater number of people. d) A User may never occupy more than one work desk, unless this is included in the contracted Services. e) Isla Work reserves the right to reorganise work desks for reasons related to the organisation of the Centre.
3. Use of offices
a) The User must follow the procedure established by Isla Work for the reservation of said space. b) They may not be used without prior reservation. c) The maximum capacity of each office, indicated at its entrance, must be respected. d) The material and equipment of the offices must be taken care of at all times. e) The facilities must be left in the state they were in initially. f) The use and connection of high-consumption household appliances or electronic devices to the electrical grid must be previously authorised by Isla Work, and the User must request the corresponding authorisation for this purpose, in each case. g) It is not permitted to keep any type of electrical and electronic devices plugged into the current outside the Centre's opening hours. If any User wishes to leave any device connected outside of said hours, they must notify Isla Work, which must authorise it expressly and in each case. In case of non-compliance with this clause, Isla Work reserves the right to unplug said devices and to charge the costs derived from said connection to the User.
4. Use of meeting rooms
a) The User must follow the procedure established by Isla Work for the reservation of said space. b) They may not be used without prior reservation. c) The maximum capacity of the rooms must be respected. d) The material and equipment of the rooms must be taken care of at all times. e) The facilities must be left in the state they were in initially.
5. Use of training rooms
a) The User must follow the procedure established by Isla Work for the reservation of said space. b) They may not be used without prior reservation. c) The maximum capacity of each of the rooms must be respected. d) The material and equipment of the rooms must be taken care of at all times. e) The facilities must be left in the state they were in initially.
6. Use of lockers
a) Each User shall be entitled to the use of a single locker, unless otherwise contracted with Isla Work. b) The lockers are not assigned, so the User may use the one that suits them best at any time. c) Isla Work reserves the right to open any locked locker once the User's contract has ended. d) The User shall be responsible for the safekeeping of the keys at all times and their return.
7. Use of the kitchen area
a) The kitchen area must be maintained in perfect conditions of cleanliness and order. b) Responsible use of appliances must be made. c) Food that is spoiled, open, or poorly sealed should not be left behind. Isla Work reserves the right to remove them. d) All waste must be deposited in the containers provided for this purpose.
THREE. – MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE FACILITIES
a) Isla Work will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the facilities through appropriate work teams, providing the means for waste disposal in accordance with the characteristics and needs of the Centre and the User. b) The User must maintain the facilities in good and clean condition, through respectful and responsible use.
FOUR. – INCIDENT COMMUNICATION
a) Incidents can be reported at the reception desk, via email at info@islawork.com, or by telephone at +34 610 00 50 99.
FIVE. – CORRESPONDENCE
a) The receipt ( and communication of said receipt) and storage of User correspondence at the Centre will not be the responsibility of Isla Work, unless the virtual office service has been contracted for such purposes.
SIX. – LOST PROPERTY
a) Isla Work is not responsible, under any circumstances, for the personal belongings of Users at the Centre. b) Each User must be responsible for looking after their belongings at all times, without exception. c) Should any unowned belonging be found, Isla Work reserves the right to store it for the time it deems appropriate, as well as to take the measures it considers suitable in relation to it.
SEVEN. – PROHIBITED USES
It is strictly prohibited: a) The use of the network for downloading or using content contrary to the Law or other than work-related content. b) The use of the facilities to carry out dangerous activities or illegal professions or those contrary to the law. c) Political, union, or religious movements or demonstrations. d) Disturbing other Users by raising voices excessively or engaging in uncivil behaviour (fights, insults, disrespect, etc.). e) Introducing toxic, unhealthy, flammable elements and materials, etc. f) Smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, or narcotic substances. g) Consuming food outside the kitchen area. h) The access of any animal to the facilities.
EIGHT. – NON-COMPLIANCE
a) In the event of any non-compliance, Isla Work reserves the right to take appropriate legal or other actions in relation to the degree of non-compliance and the damage that Isla Work may suffer as a result of the non-compliance.
